In partnership with a local rescue, we take dogs from neglectful and abusive situations, train them, and adopt them to happy, loving homes.
We also rescue from local shelters, generally nabbing the ones who’ve been there the longest, or who’ve been deemed unadoptable, so we can help give them a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
For more severe situations regarding fear and aggression, we often opt for K9 Bootcamp. In these situations, your pup will come stay with us so we can offer more intensive training in order to deconstruct negative associations and build better habits. Many people fear their lack of involvement in this method, so rest assured, we involve you every step of the way! You even bring your dog home intermittently so you can create a positive mindset in your home throughout our training process!

Our team at CRT K9 has experience in service dog and therapy dog training. We can help you train your dog as a basic ESA dog, or for more specific tasks. We also offer risk-free certifications, upon assessment and graduation from our service dog training course!
Many people wonder if their dog was abused with a prior owner due to fear in the pup. What, in fact, is a much more common cause of fear, is lack of socialization. We offer socialization for dogs and puppies of all ages, helping them learn proper habits and/or unlearn unhealthy behaviors in the presence of other dogs and people.
Have a busy job and don’t have the ability to get home to take care of your dog during the day? We offer daycare for select clients! We can even come pick up your dog in the morning and bring him back in the evening for you! We aim to make your life easier and your pup’s life more enriched.
Basic obedience is undoubtedly one of the most underrated pieces of the training puzzle. It is the cornerstone of your relationship with your dog. Whether we realize it or not, we are constantly training our dogs. They learn from habits created, so whether it’s positive or negative, they are always learning from us. Our basic obedience courses help you build a positive relationship with your dog!
Going on a trip? We can help! We offer K9 boarding. We bring your pup into our own homes so they never spend a night alone!
If you’d rather, we also offer in-home dog sitting. This is a great option for anxious dogs who haven’t undergone training yet! We keep them comfortable and well taken care of in their own home environment while you’re away so you never have to worry.
Our private sessions are great for focused, expedited training. We offer regular or as-needed 1-hour training sessions with you and your dog so you can gain a better understanding, more quickly, and your pup can learn more thoroughly!
Group sessions are a fantastic way to couple training and socialization at the same time! We offer many different types of training in groups. Even if your dog is apprehensive around other dogs, this is a great way to ease them into meeting other dogs in a very controlled, and spaced out environment.
Disclaimer: Your sessions and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 48-hour notice.
Our Policy:
Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 48 hours prior to any service will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services or $150.00, whichever is more. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your session, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you. We require a credit card to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file. Deposits for any service are non-refundable.
