Advanced Obedience: This is a great option for dogs who aren’t dealing with any behavioral concerns but whose people want to get them advanced obedience training. Whether you’re interested in AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, or you want your dog to be off-leash trained, or just generally the best they can be! This is a great option for you.
Behavior Modification: For more severe situations regarding fear and aggression. In these situations, your pup will come stay with us so we can offer more intensive training in order to deconstruct negative associations and build better habits. Many people fear their lack of involvement in this method, so rest assured, we involve you every step of the way! You even bring your dog home intermittently so you can create a positive mindset in your home throughout our training process!
Our board & trains are structured a bit differently than most here in San Diego. We know that owner involvement is crucial to the long term success of any training program, so we created a hybrid board and train where you get the best of both worlds, we do the bulk of the up front training, but you still get consistent, hands on private training throughout the program. What this looks like is that each week of our board and train program is broken up into 5 days spent with us doing intensive training daily, and 2 days spent with you, reinforcing that training, so that your pup can build a strong bond and healthy dynamic with you during our program so you’re not starting from scratch once it’s over. When we bring your dog home on day 6 of each week, we do a full training session together and offer you small, digestible homework items, so it isn’t overwhelming having your dog home for just 2 days at a time. Once the program is over, we offer phone support whenever needed moving forward as well!
